Dermal Therapist – Laser & Skin Treatments

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Dermal Therapist with laser experience to join a respected boutique cosmetic medical clinic in Sydney’s inner-east. The Role

You will be responsible for delivering advanced skin treatments, with a focus on laser-based therapies, LED, microneedling and other premium modalities. You’ll work closely with established clients and new ones, tailoring treatment plans, following best practice protocols and ensuring excellent results and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• Perform laser and light based skin treatments (including but not limited to pulsed-laser facials, LED therapies, resurfacing, pigmentation/vascular work)
• Conduct comprehensive skin consultations, evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate treatment plans
• Deliver second-to-none client experience: pre-treatment, during session and post-treatment follow-up
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of skincare protocols, laser safety and emerging treatment technologies
• Work with skincare product regimes and home-care recommendations as part of holistic skin health service
• Maintain accurate treatment records and comply with health & safety / laser regulation protocols
• Collaborate with the clinic team (therapists, injectors, reception) to contribute to the growth and reputation of the clinic

About You

You’re a professional, warm and confident skin therapist who thrives on technical excellence and exceptional client service. You enjoy working in a premium environment and care deeply about skin outcomes, client comfort and repeat visits.

You’ll have:

• A recognised qualification in Dermal Therapy or equivalent (Advanced Diploma or Bachelor-level preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in laser and light-based treatments within a cosmetic or medical skin setting
• Excellent communication and consultation skills — you build rapport easily and explain treatment options clearly
• Strong attention to detail, high standards of hygiene and ability to follow clinical protocols
• A proactive, professional and client-first mindset
• Licence/certification for laser operation or equivalent (as required by NSW regulations)
